Lochinvar manufactures water heaters and boilers used in commercial buildings across the country. The people who specify and service that equipment are rarely at a desk. They are in a mechanical room, often with poor connectivity, and they need exact model data quickly.

What we did

We designed and built a mobile application that puts the full product catalogue, specification sheets and sizing information in the hands of contractors and sales representatives. Content is cached on the device so it stays usable when the signal does not.

The app was released on both iOS and Android from a shared codebase, and hooks into Lochinvar's existing product data so updates flow through without a manual re-publish.

The result

Field staff stopped carrying printed binders. Remote access to the information that drives a sale is now a phone in a pocket rather than a trip back to the truck.
